The Ministry of Works would like to inform the general public that persons who were employed under the Government debushing Programme should be receiving their payments today (Friday).
Minister of State in the Ministry of Works, Hon. Sylvester Quarless, says persons who have worked under contract No.4 will receive their payments today Friday 18 th , July, 2008.
According to him the late payment is due to the new Government taking office, but reassures all concerned that the monies had been allocated and is available to them.
The Hon. Minister also stated that his Government is committed to making sure that all persons who worked on Government contracts will be compensated for their jobs.
The Ministry of Works will like to thank the public for their patience and apologizes for any inconveniences caused.
